Carlos Vazquez

Carlos is a long time personal trainer and is certified by the American Council on Exercise.  He’s also a certified Spin instructor, having completed the required training from Mad Dogg Athletics.  Carlos and is devoted husband and father and makes his home in Waltham.  He has extensive martial arts training as well as multiple marathons under his belt.  He specializes in strength training, combined cardio, stretching, T’ai Chi and martial arts instruction. Carlos is also fluent en español.

What is a Holistic Personal Trainer? It’s personal training that involves discovering the condition of the client’s body internally & externally, in order to identify postural deficits, musculoskeletal imbalances, current lifestyle (Weight, Exercise, Nutrition, Health, Energy, Mental and Emotional Fitness, Lifestyle) & more. This information is used to meet each client where they are physically and mentally in order to effectively facilitate the goal attainment process which leads to client success in multiple dimensions.


Linda’s goal as a Holistic Practitioner: (with over fifteen years of experience) is to promote adherence & self-reliance to fitness, nutrition & the adoption of a holistic lifestyle. As a Behavior Modification Coach, she’s non-judgmental, an active listener & empathic which ensures that her clients are mentally present not only at the beginning & at session’s end, but on a moment by moment basis; this promotes mindfulness leading to the development & strengthening of the client’s mind & body connection. In the end, her goal is to have the stimulus become the reward, therefore fat loss and/or muscle gains & healthy lifestyle adoption become byproducts. Her ability to customize her services based on each client’s present moment condition ensures that he/she remains engaged, challenged & successful in reaching his/her Fitness, Nutrition & Lifestyle goals.


After sustaining a severe tibia plateau fracture (plate & screws) over eighteen years ago, Linda’s recovery ignited her desire to adopt a healthy lifestyle & her passion to help others achieve optimal physical & mental wellbeing – by correcting physical limitations through exercise & eliminating any barrier to health & wellness with effective behavior modification techniques.


Linda exercises regularly & follows a low glycemic carbohydrate, gluten free, soy free & a sugar free diet Candida diet; by so doing, she is now a recovered “sugarholic” Linda not only talks-the-talk but walks-the walk! Let’s begin your journey to optimal wellness together!


Linda has a Bachelors’ of Business Management & Communication degree, plus certifications from ACSM, AFPA & Wellcoaches. She loves nature & is a four-season hike leader with the Blue Hills Hiking Club, an AMC co-leader, road cycles, four-wheels, camps & more


Eli Andler

Eli is a NASM certified trainer and has been training individuals and groups for the past 3 years.  He is passionate about fitness and has worked hard to transform his own body.  It is because of this that Eli understands the pitfalls of an exercise regimen, as well as techniques to exercise more efficiently and change clients body’s faster.  Eli takes the time to understand his clients fitness goals and customizes routines based on individual needs.  


He utilizes a variety of exercise equipment  to keep programs fun and progressive.  His balance of muscle building, core training, and interval training help clients get results and improve functional strength.  Whether you’re trying to burn fat or just add more to your squat Eli has the program for you.  Eli is currently taking clients.


Aruna Evan

Aruna is originally from California and as a lifelong vegetarian, avid hiker, and passionate adventurer, she believes that we are what we eat and we feel what we do. Intense exercise and excellent food can and will revolutionize the way you feel and look.


When it comes to training, she believes there are five key factors to success: consistency, intensity, variety, practicality, and safety. The time you spend training with her composes only a fraction of your waking hours. As such, Aruna helps her clients create and adhere to realistic and effective training schedules based on your individual needs and preferences.


Aruna has a keen interest in motivation and behavior modification as well. She gets her clients working harder and smarter. Here is one of her favorite tips that you can use at home: Instead of battling with yourself when you just don’t feel like working out, plug in those earbuds and play your favorite pump-up song. Music is a neurostimulant that can drastically change the way you feel. It’ll send your pre-exercise motivation through the roof. Try it yourself!

 


Callie Belt

An Arizona native, Callie recently moved to the Boston area to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons College. With a passion for health and wellness, she gained her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine during undergrad while attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.


Her approach to training includes high intensity intervals mixed with functional movement in order to improve the body as a whole and hopefully prevent you from seeing her in a physical therapy clinic in the future! Callie views exercise as a vehicle for both physical and mental well-being and will be dedicated to help and encourage you to achieve your personal fitness goals.


Kenny Faria

Education: B.A. Psychology, Keene State College


Growing up in the South Shore, Kenny was big into sports, which later introduced him to weight lifting. Through weight lifting, process of setting goals and staying motivated to accomplish those goals taught him that a strong mind is just as important as a strong body. As a student at Keene State College one of Kenny’s favorite areas of study was psychology and motivation. The understanding of what drives a person to want to achieve a goal and seeing someone consistently stay driven even when obstacles arise made weight lifting more than just a form of exercise.


Kenny’s focus is getting his clients in the habit of pushing themselves and overcoming obstacles. This is essential in developing a strong mind, and will lead to success in fat loss, increasing general fitness, and strength and size development. One of the greatest keys is that these same confidence learned in the gym can be implemented in all areas of your life.


Milton Ricaurte

Milton’s passion for sports as well as health and fitness has guided him in the pursuit of a career path in which training and helping individuals achieve their personal fitness goals is his drive. As a former Semi-professional, NJCAA Div. I., NCAA Div. III soccer player, he was able to build constant success through dedication, hard work, and discipline.


Milton’s philosophy is, discipline and hard work are the key to achieving one’s goals. Without discipline we waste all the efforts we apply towards anything we are trying to accomplish, especially if what we are going after is the best version of ourselves. Fitness reflects your life, so why not take advantage of the beauty of it, which is its simplicity. Fitness is measurable, physical, daily and constant improvement, therefore applying simple concepts such as discipline will reinforce one’s desire towards a path of improvement.
