“We do not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.”

This is my 70+ client Wayne – he is a recreational golfer I have been doing golf fitness with since December, we are getting ready for golf season. Here we are doing quadruped thoracic rotations – creasing mobility in the upper back to help Wayne in his set-up and swing. He struggles particularly with thoracic mobility, so we work on this often. Here we are doing it as part of a mobility warm-up. Check out the Video:
Here Wayne and Will are working on the hip hinge using a PVC pipe. The hip hinge is critical in the golf set up. It encourages proper neutral spine posture, as well as helping prevent excessive stress in the low back. All proper swing patterns start with a good set up!
