Temporary Gym Closure

At the Beacon Hill Athletic Clubs, our primary concern is the health and well-being of our membership. For the past few weeks we have been doing everything possible to keep our facilities open and available for those who wish to use them while keeping the health risks to our members as low as possible.

Following the most recent edict of the Governor’s office, however, we must now close all our facilities effective the end of business this evening, March 16. Here is a link to the entire press release:  https://www.bizjournals.com/boston/news/2020/03/15/gov-baker-announces-aggressive-new-measures-to.html.

All Accounts will be frozen during this time

In our 31-year history we have never experienced anything like the COVID-19 pandemic and we will do everything possible to continue to bring value to our members. Stay tuned to our website and social media platforms for at-home workouts, health updates and news as to when we might re-open. This situation is fluid and very dynamic and we hope to be able to resume at least limited operations in the near future. Things could change at any time.

The BHAC is a small, locally owned company. Several of our staff members are equity partners and have been with us for decades.  We’re more like a family than a company and we rely on you – our members – for our very existence. We appreciate you sticking with us through this turmoil so we can continue to pay our salaries, our rent and the rest of our operating expenses.

We would also like to announce that the BHAC Charitable Foundation will be making a $2,500 donation to the City of Boston’s COVID-19 Fund for needy families affected by this pandemic. Jump-started by the Boston Foundation and the United Way, this fund will help the city’s neediest through what has rapidly become one of the most serious health crises in Boston’s history: https://unitedwaymassbay.org/get-involved/covid-19-family-fund/
